Headed into Bozeman. Got some good shots of some big horn sheep. But mostly chain stores in Bozeman. I was tempted to “camp” at Walmart but resisted. Instead, I drove about an hour west staying in Three Rivers.
Camping on Yellowstone Lake in Grant Village. Traveled this day to West Thumb to view boiling springs along the lake shore, then on to Fishing Bridge, The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and Artist Point. Viewed and took images of the lower canyon and falls, MAGNIFICENT!
Hiked and took images for miles around the canyon, then drove in to Canyon Village. Viewed and took images of bison, elk and some rare Trumpeter swans along the Yellowstone River. Watched a lone bison slowly walk up the middle of the road, seemingly holding up traffic both ways on purpose. He was definitely in control!
Wow, is this park crowded. It reminds me of NYC at Christmas time , bumper to bumper traffic and elbow to elbow in the stores. By some miracle I got two nights of camping with no reservation at Grants village.Got to take some images of old faithful at sunset by getting there two hours early, had an Elk wander into the camp!
This night after seeing some amazing scenes of dinosaur and desert, I was eating some sticky dessert after a nice campfire dinner and felt shooting pain in my mouth. I pulled out my molar crown out of my food. OMG in the middle of no where Utah.
i went over to the ranger and asked for a dentist location.I also put a call in to Good Sam emergency help. Both came back with the suggestion to call Ashley Family Dental in Vernal, Utah. 80 miles west. Amazingly they said come on in tomorrow.
The next morning I was there.

Headed into Jensen, Utah and set up shop along the Green River in Dinosaur National Park. Back up into the 90s during the day and down to the 50s at night.Toured and hiked around the Park. The monument consisted of a 20,000 sq ft glassed in, air conditioned structure housing a rock formation filled with dinosaur bones over 149 million years old embedded in the rock, carefully and methodically being excavated.
